LOOKING FOR ALL OUR TRIVIA BUFFS OUT THERE
Student Trivia Night is coming and we can't do it without YOU!

One of the best nights of the school year is our Student Trivia Knight at RVMS. This is an event completely devoted to our kiddos. They have so much fun having a night out that is ALL about them!

This student event is not like an adult trivia night.  First, this is for students only (with one parent chaperone per table).  There is no silent auction, or donation solicitation necessary. Here is what is needed to make this event successful.

  1. Committee Chairs to organize all the parts
  2. Volunteer(s) to write trivia questions per the theme and geared towards grade-levels 6th-8th.
  3. Volunteer(s) to create a slideshow with questions.
  4. Volunteer(2) to purchase small trinket prizes and pick-up a few gift cards as prizes for Overall Trivia Winners, Best Table Decorations Best Team Costumes.
  5. Volunteers to help the night of to score trivia answer sheets.

As with all the wonderful events the PSO hosts for the students, if we can't get parent volunteers to help, we may have to cancel. Trivia Knight is a long standing tradition at RVMS, the students would be very disappointed if we have to cancel.  Please sign up today to take on one small part to make sure we can have this event for our students.

Trivia Knight is scheduled for Friday, March 10, 2023.  We would love to have your help! Sign Up to volunteer or reach out and we can share more details about this event.

RVMSPSO@gmail.com

Online Trivia Knight registration will begin March 1st.  Watch for more details to come.

AMAZON SMILE UPDATE
AmazonSmile program winding down

If you use AmazonSmile when you purchase packages on Amazon then you know that charitable donations are made from each item you buy.  We just found out that after February 20, 2023, Amazon is changing the way they donate to charitable organizations.

AmazonSmile is going away and instead, Amazon is focusing their donations on the communities where their employees live and work.

RVMS has benefited from families purchasing through the AmazonSmile program over the years and we appreciate those who have used us as their charity of choice. You have just a little less than a month to continue adding up those Amazon donations through AmazonSmile.
