We are celebrating April birthdays for our teachers and staff on April 13th. This month's theme is Sweet and Salty! A great taste combination that everyone is sure to love!

The last Dine to Donate this school year!  Dewey's Pizza April 11th from 4:00pm - 9:00pm.  Make it an easy night for meal planning while you are out running errands and dropping-off and picking-up! Dine-in, carry-out! Show the flyer and Dewey's Pizza will give 20% of your purchase back to RVMS!

Spring has sprung and it's time to get out and have some fun! Whether you are a runner, jogger or just a walker plan to join the RVMS Community for our annual Fun Run on Saturday, April 22nd!  

The Fun Run is open to anyone that wants to get out and enjoy the sunshine and enjoy time with friends and family.  

Watch for Sign Ups coming soon! This community event is a 5K around the Lafayette High School area and it ends with snacks and prizes. 

Mark your calendars, you won't want to miss it!

Eighth Grade Farewell is a traditional celebration at RVMS that marks the end of students’ middle school years. The PSO sponsors the 8th grade dance as part of those farewell activities along with the ceremony & reception. RVMS also hosts two days of off-campus activities for our 8th graders to have some fun.

Dates for those activities are:

May 19 - 8th Grade Dance

May 30 - Main Event Field Trip

May 30 - 8th Grade Ceremony & Reception at LHS

May 31 - Six Flags Field Trip

You should have received a notice through ParentSquare regarding an online permission/payment form you need to fill out in order for your student to take part in the field trips. 

That form must be submitted by Sunday, April 9th. A link to the form is below.

The PSO will be hosting the 8th grade dance at RVMS on Friday, May 19th and the 8th grade graduation reception on Tuesday, May 30th.

The theme for this year's dance Hollywood Walk of Fame! As the 8th grade students are rocketing towards the finish line at RVMS, the PSO looks forward to celebrating all their successes! 

More details will be coming soon! Watch for volunteer and donation sign ups to be shared after spring break. Please plan to volunteer your time, make a donation OR both, as we we will need a lot of help!

This is a wonderful time of year as we celebrate the amazing Class of 2027!

• The last Fun Food Friday for this school year will be on Friday, April 28th.  
• The last day to purchase punch cards for this school year will be Friday, May 22nd.
• The last day the school store will be open is Friday, May 26th.
• Any punch cards with outstanding balances will be discarded at the end of the school year.  Cards will NOT roll over to the 2023-2024 school year.

Be sure to use those cards up before they are gone!
